Hi, I am BRIAN DEMPSEY.

I am the owner and one of photographers of Glass City Photography, LLC. Photography is something that has always been part of my life. My father was an amateur photographer who was always taking photos of my family members and I growing up. I purchased my first camera in high school and that's where it all started. After years of photography education, including degree with a major in journalism, owning a photography business was never planned.

In 2009 I was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer and went through multiple years of treatment and recovery. Over that time everyone started taking photos with me or I would catch them taking a candid photo of me without hair. Luckily, I was able to overcome the grim diagnosis. Many more years of photography education followed, and I was still taking images of whatever I could. In 2018 my wife recommended since I have all this equipment, I start a business. So, in August of 2018 we formally started Glass City Photography, LLC.
